The Life of a Tree

Wind wanders and the

willow weeps green tears of grief

for her lost sisters.

Wind whispers, and the

willow tells a long sad tale

to her green children.

Window wide open.

Willow stands outside, weeping,

wailing in the breeze.

Wild willow weeps

alone. Her roots plunge ever

deeper into earth.
